This is an interesting set of verses. While it appears innocuous enough, one has to wonder how the author actually improves on the original text. For the author to call his version "Clear" implies that the version God produced is "unclear". How does one improve on what God does?

Titus 1:1-2 (King James Version)

1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
