4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

4 I'm talking to you as my friends. Don't be afraid of what people will do to you. If you're arrested for my sake and they kill you, they've only killed your body but they can't touch your soul.

5 The only One to fear is God, who has power over your body and soul. In the end He can destroy both. Yes, you should fear Him.
