Genesis 3:1-3 (King James Version)
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Genesis 3:1-3 (New International Version)
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,
3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

Genesis 3:1-3 (SDA Clear Word Bible)
1 Of all the animals, the flying serpent was the most beautiful and intelligent that God had made. One day Satan used the serpent to speak to Eve. When she came close to the forbidden tree, the serpent said, "didn't God restrict your freedom by not letting you eat from any tree you wanted?"
2 Eve was startled, but instead of fleeing to adam's side she answered, "God didn't restrict our freedom. We can eat of any tree in the garden that we want to
3 except this one which is in the middle. God asked us not to eat of it or even touch it, or we'll die for sure."
