These are verses that we are all familiar with.
A Baptist pastor I showed this to was quite puzzled as to why the SDA Clear Word Bible needed to add "This earth began by an act of God." What is the significance? What does it add that God's Word is missing? And why specifically mention that this earth began by an act of God? Is that not apparent in the following text?
The pastor asked me, "Does this imply that there are other inhabited earths, or what is it trying to say?"
