How Does the SDA Clear Word Bible Compare to God's Word?

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 (King James Version)

22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:

26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 (New International Version)

22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.

23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always.

24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away),

25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD your God will choose.

26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.

Deuteronomy 14:22-26 (SDA Clear Word Bible)

22 Remember that in addition to the Lord's tithe you are to set aside for yourselves a tenth of all that your fields produce. This second tithe is to be used for the cost of your attendence at the festivals of the Lord.

23 When the time comes for these festivales, go to the place of worship that the Lord has chosen for Himself and praise Him for what He has done for you. Be happy in His presence as you eat from your tenth of the grain, grapes, olives and meat of the firstborn of animals from your flocks and herds. If you do this, you will learn to love and respect the Lord your God ad appreciate what He has done for you.

24 If you live to far from the place of worship that the Lord has chosen for Himself, and you can't take along a second tithe of all the animals and goods the Lord has blessed you with,

25 then sell them, take the money and go to the place of worship the Lord has chosen for Himself.

26 When you get there buy what you want to eat and drink, whether it's beef, lamb, unfermented wine, or anything else that the Lord approves. Take your family and sit down with them to eat and drink with your heart full of gratitude for what the Lord has done for you. Enjoy yourselves and fellowship with your brothers and sisters from other parts of the country and be happy in the presence of the Lord your God.
